Here is your weekly taxi and private hire travel update. This email sets out changes and events that could affect your journeys, as well as essential licensing information.

Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

Hayes

From 23:00 tomorrow, Friday, until 05:00 on Saturday, and at the same times on Sunday/Monday, M4 will be closed eastbound between junctions 3 and 2. This is for resurfacing works.

Bermondsey Street closure

On Sunday, Bermondsey Street will be closed from 08:00 until 20:00. During this closure the taxi rank will still be accessible via Tooley Street and then Magdalen Street.

Events update

Wembley
From 15:00 until around midnight on Friday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including the A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to events.

Central London
From 06:00 until 20:00 on Saturday, there will be various road closures in the area, including Whitehall, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, and parts of Oxford Street. This is for a parade. For more information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/weekend

Greenwich
From 06:00 until 22:00 on Saturday, there will be road closures in place for an event, including College Approach, King William Walk and Greenwich Church Street.

Morden
From 09:00 until 13:00 on Saturday, there will be road closures in the area, including A24 London Road northbound, at the junction with Central Road, and southbound at the junction with Morden Hall Road. This is for a march.

Central London
From 07:00 until 13:00 on Sunday, Pall Mall will be closed westbound at the junction of Waterloo Place. This is for an event.

Wimbledon
From Monday until Sunday 10 July, traffic is likely to be busy in Southfields, Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon town centre. Parking restrictions will also be in place. This is due to the Wimbledon tennis championships. Taxi ranks will operate in Augustus Road, Church Road (Gate 4), Somerset Road (Gate 13) and at Wimbledon Station. There will be designated private hire drop off and pick up areas on Wimbledon Park Road and Marryat Road. Stopping and waiting restrictions around Wimbledon will be fully enforced throughout the Championships.
